Woolworths North Baldivis

Due to our extensive experience working on over 130+ Woolworths projects, DEM were engaged to design the mechanical services for the Woolworths Tenancy at Stargate Shopping Centre, North Baldivis, in line with the Woolworths Design Guidelines. 

The air conditioning system utilises the stores CO2 Transcritical Refrigeration system, used for the refrigerated cabinets, to provide cooling whilst the waste heat is used to provide heating and humidity control of the store. The design of the air conditioning system included energy efficient measures such as economy cycle, modulation of the fan speed based on cooling demand, and outside air modulation based on CO2 levels within the trading floor. 

DEM also assisted during the construction phase to ensure that the installation was done in accordance with the Woolworths Design Guidelines including witnessing of commissioning and overseeing a full integrated fire test.
