Wearne Aged Care Redevelopment

This is a $100 million high-end resort-style aged care facility, developed by Curtin Heritage Living in Cottesloe.

DEM worked closely with the Head Contractor, Built., to spearhead the commissioning of all services. A key feature of the building's core services incorporated an integrated communications backbone via a Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) system. The commissioning and planning of this system was the single key dependency for all services in the facility, including the HVAC controls system, Nurse Call system, access control systems, CCTV, lighting control and Audio-Visual systems. Mark assisted Built. with the commissioning programming, commissioning progress tracking and developed the key witnessing procedures, to ensure the project was handed over on time and commissioned to a high standard.
