Perth Eye Hospital

DEM have been assisting Perth Eye Hospital since 2015, providing various forms of Health Engineering Support. This includes the following:

• Condition, risk and compliance audits of all Building Services
• Assessment of Hospital Reverse Osmosis system and assistance towards AS4187 compliance
• Assessment of bottle store and vacuum plant condition and compliance
• Design of new ventilation systems to the bottle store and vacuum plant room
• Upgrade of office and store ventilation and air conditioning system to meet modern standards
• Assistance with LARU audits and advice on potential upgrade/ rectification works to ensure the facility remains compliant and operating under best practice
• Advice on HEPA filters in theatres
• Advice on emergency lighting and fire upgrades
• Upgrade of dirty side of CSSD air conditioning to improve staff comfort
• Improvement of Recovery 2 controls
• Assessment of tool air upgrade to theatre 4
• LARU approvals of constellation laser up-grade to Theatre 2.

The ongoing support DEM has provided has helped the client to maintain the facility as best practice, assisted with correct maintenance and has ensured that any disruption is minimised.
