DEM was engaged to provide engineering calculations and shop drawings to facilitate the construction of this new fitness facility. The scope included static calculations to finalise equipment selections, builders works drawings to coordinate mechanical services penetrations with the builder, final spatial coordination with other services for equipment and duct reticulation, and shop detailing for manufacturing and installation. The raked ceiling throughout the facility provides enhanced aesthetics but added challenges for the duct reticulation. DEM worked closely with the mechanical contractor to ensure full coordination and ease of installation onsite.
