AEGIC Aco

This project was a planned fit out of an existing facility in Cockburn to accommodate the operational needs of AEGIC. DEM was engaged to design the HVAC and lab gas systems. 

The new HVAC design consisted of DX VRF systems for the required temperature control and ventilation systems for some lab instruments. The Milling room required both temperature and humidity precision control and a significant amount of extraction. DEM worked closely with the air conditioning manufacturer to develop a custom air conditioning unit to achieve the required internal environment. Further, gas detection and emergency systems were designed with interlock controls with the HVAC systems to purge the specific room in the event of a gas leak. Photo shows the Milling room in operation.
