This is a new $82 million automatic parcel processing facility for Australia Post in Welshpool, Western Australia.

PS Structures engaged DEM to provide commissioning management support to ensure all base-build services were commissioned to meet the Australia Post integrated fit-out requirements. Mark coordinated sub-contractor commissioning meetings throughout the later stages of the construction program to ensure timely completion and high-quality commissioning was achieved. This project provided staging and dependency challenges due to the complex nature of the automated parcel sorting infrastructure that was being fit out during the project's construction. The 23,000m2 facility is now complete, in operation and has the capacity to process up to 200,000 parcels a day during peak periods.
